FREE-TO-BE!

I've always wanted to live in a country where I could be free and wild forever. Where I could be a student speaking out its mind. I've hated stereotypes, limits and all those people who obey those things. I wished I were a rebel or something like that, to have red hair (I've got it now) like Susan Sarandon and shout out for peace and freedom.

I've believed that one can change the world even though my mum still keeps saying that our mission is not changing the world, but changing ourselves and improving the characters we've got. She's right, can't fight with that!

Yesterday I started reading a book titled 'Jewish Literacy' by Joseph Telushkin. It is quite smart and witty book where you can read about anything from Torah to modern Jewish history. And it helped me to realize where I'd like to live and what kind of person I'd rather be...

My mum's always been the one to say that I should choose which religion is close to my soul and follow it, so I told to mum that Judaism is the religion that helps me to become better, wiser and see myself through. And not because I've got Jewish roots, above it all Judaism is all that I'd like to be: FREE TO SPEAK OUT MY MIND!!!
